Our original work began under the name Empower Z.E.E., a grassroots effort to give parents a safe space to share, learn, and feel supported. Empower Z.E.E. was about survival—making sure families didn’t feel alone. It laid the foundation for something bigger.

As our mission grew, so did our vision. We realized families didn’t just need support; they needed advocacy, equity, and opportunity. That’s when Meant2Rise was born. Our new name reflects a faith-led outlook and a bold commitment:

• Families are meant to rise above challenges, not be defined by them.

• Children are meant to rise into their fullest potential with the right support.

• Communities are meant to rise together when we stand for inclusion and empowerment.
  
  

Today, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Meant2Rise continues the spirit of Empower Z.E.E. but with an expanded mission:

• To educate and advocate for parents navigating IEPs, 504s, and special education.

• To provide health and wellness support for both children and caregivers.

• To empower moms to find financial freedom through entrepreneurship.

• To create safe, faith-led spaces where families feel seen, heard, and valued.

At Meant2Rise, we believe every “yes” matters. Sometimes all it takes is one yes to change a child’s future—and we are here to be that yes.
